Short description of the event: On March 19th, at the University of Dubrovnik Campus, a project "Hrvatska stvara" will be presented. The project is maintained by STEMI d.o.o. and the Association Programerko as a representative of Code Club Croatia with Partners of the Croatian Association of Technical Culture and Netokracija. The project is being carried out under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia and with the support of the British Embassy.
After presentation primary school students had Code Club programming workshop in Scratch programming language, and secondary school students competition with STEMI hexapod.
The goal of the project is to encourage young people to create a creative spirit in the youth, creating places throughout Croatia where young people can meet, learn and create. Aim is to increase the interest of young people in technical culture and science.
Predicted Program: from 16:00 to 18:
Welcome speech by representatives of the County, City, University, presentation of the project "Hrvatska stvara", addressing the British Ambassador; a demonstration workshop with students of elementary schools of the City and County, and their mentors.
